MEET OUR ACTS

 KRISTIAN LLOYD

Aloha! My name is Kristian Lloyd. I am a Junior at Seabury Hall and I love music and the performing arts. I consider myself a multi-instrumentalist with the dream that eventually cloning technology will allow me to start my own band of Kristian-clones (and also because I’m indecisive and can never choose one instrument). You can always find me at every Seabury Hall performance, singing, acting, and dancing (or, at least, trying to). If I'm ever not on stage I’m up in the tech booth running the sound equipment in Seabury Hall’s own `A`ali`ikÅ«honua Creative Arts Center. Outside of school I produce my own original music (along with friends) and have accumulated over 2,000,000 streams on Spotify alone.

RANDI LONZAGA

Aloha, my name is Randi Lonzaga. I am a dancer and aspiring choreographer born and raised in Maui, Hawaii. I started dancing at the age of three years old, and I’ve been in love with the art ever since. From as far as I can remember, dance has always been a way of expressing myself. Whenever I go through a hard time I always find myself going to the dance studio because it’s my safe place. Dancing makes me feel alive, comfortable, ecstatic. I feel one hundred percent authentically myself when I dance. I get to pour all of the emotions I’ve been feeling into movement, and I think that’s a beautiful thing. Dance has always been my outlet and that’s why I continue to dance.

MIA UTRILLO

Hello! My name is Mia Utrillo. I an 17 and a senior at LahainaLuna High school. I have been dancing for my whole life since the age of 3 and even plan to pursue it as my future career one day! I love to dance genres from Hip-Hop to classical Ballet. In my sophomore year of High School I was Clara from the Nutcracker and Snow Queen in my senior year. I am grateful that I have this opportunity to dance for Mohala Maui Benefit Concert and show my love for the arts!

NOELLE LO

Aloha! My name is Noelle Lo, and I am a senior at Maui High School. I have been involved with musical theater since the age of 9, and it truly helped me find myself. Theater was my outlet to express my weirdness and be accepted for who I am. Some of my favorite roles have been Pumbaa in Lion King, and Matchmaker in Mulan. I have always been seen as the funny character so I’m excited to showcase a different side of me in this concert! Although I won’t be pursuing theater in college, I hope to continue to be a part of the arts and participate in local theater productions in college. I would like to thank the arts and musical theater for being my safe place, and for truly letting me be me.

DYLAN TAASAN & MIKAYLA FUJITA

Dylan and Mikayla are students from King Kekaulike High School. These two seniors have been in theater together since freshmen year and are both singers for the jazz band. The two are officers in the King Kekaulike Drama Club program, where Dylan serves as Club President, and Mikayla Thespian Vice President. Their passion and dedication for theater exceeds further, as both are members of the International Thespian Society. Mikayla also shows musical excellence as a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Alongside music, Dylan has a passion for photography and is a participant in the King Kekaulike Dance Class. The pair are aspiring artists and they’re excited to be performing on stage for you all!

MAJK

MAJK (pronounced magic) is a group consisting of Maka’ala, Aeris, Jhon, and Kaya. Comprised of a freshman and 3 seniors, they are all a part of the Maui High School Choir and very passionate about singing. They created the group specially for Mohala Maui and although not having worked together as a quartet, their vocals and personalities complement each other greatly.
